It was when I overheard my 5th employee training my new 6th employee saying, “There is no BS here. We do not over charge people or look at patients as money-making opportunities. Each patient is treated like a million dollar client not just the millionaires. We want everyone to leave the clinic amazed at the care they received and for the price that they paid.”
When I heard her say that from around the corner I realized that my ideas of how to provide a new type of health care were taking hold at Care Practice. I knew I had accomplished my first goal in creating Care Practice to create a neighborhood clinic that would be a medical home for the uninsured waiter as much as for the CEO. A clinic founded on integrity, transparency, and affordability.
