At Care Practice Hospice for us means a place to turn and a team of people to be by your side. As on call physicians and naturopathic doctors who specialize in end of life care we feel especially equipped to aid a family in all their end of life needs.
As on call physicians with a 7 day a week medical practice that specializes in house calls and after hour appointments we found an increasing number of families and patients were seeking out our services to help manage patients with terminal illnesses and help to keep them out of the hospital.
As a result we decided to create a Hospice Team within Care Practice to focus on end of life care and management of these terminal patients. The Team is led by Dr. Aaron Blackledge the Medical Director of Care Practice who has been doing frequent in home visits and managing Hospice patients for the last 5 years. Dr. Andrew Brandeis is our Naturopathic Doctor who focuses on strength and nutritional support of hospice patients, particularly utilizing IV nutritional therapies to help support patients depleted by toxic medications and chemotherapy treatments from long battles with illness.
Dr. Brandeis also offers in home physical adjustments and cranio sacral work to patients. Tatiana Granik is the Hospice Patient Care Coordinator who oversees and manages the team.
